Getting Started in Kansas

Withdraw from Current School (if enrolled)
If your child is currently enrolled, submit a written withdrawal letter to formally close enrollment and prevent truancy issues.

Register with the State
Register your homeschool as a non-accredited private school with the Kansas State Board of Education. This must be done annually.

Select your materials and begin instruction. Kansas gives you freedom in curriculum choice as long as instruction is competent.
