Getting Started in Wyoming

Withdraw from Current School (if enrolled)
If your child is currently enrolled, submit a written withdrawal letter to formally close enrollment and prevent truancy issues.

Submit Basic Education Form
File your basic education form with the local superintendent at least 14 days before starting instruction. This is separate from school withdrawal.

Choose Curriculum & Begin
Select materials covering required subjects sequenced by grade level. Plan for 175 days of instruction per year.
